Design

The designer of the Le Klint Carronade pendant light, Markus Johansson, attaches great importance to extraordinary design, however never at the expense of lesser functionality. This elegant pendant light is a perfect example of his perception of design: with the wooden fork joint, the cylindrically shaped lamp head of the Carronade slightly resembles an old ship cannon usually found on warships during the 18th century. The fine applications made of walnut wood and brass further underline the overall vintage appearance. Thereby, this pendant light by the traditional Danish company Le Klint turns into the highlight of any interior design concept and spreads a charming retro flair.

The design of the Carronade Pendant Light Small was penned by Markus Johansson who created this luminaire in 2016 for the manufacturer Le Klint.

Carronade: adjustable light direction

The lamp head of the Le Klint Carronade can be rotated and tilted as desired. For this, the pendant light always supplies needs-oriented zone lighting. Furthermore, a diffuser covering the light opening ensures that the light emitted is evenly spread. With a cable length of 3 m, the Carronade may be suspended from ceilings of up to 4.5 m height. In order to get the most out of your pendant light, light11 recommends using an LED retrofit lamp, as they provide a large amount of light while consuming only little energy.

The Le Klint Carronade is a highly flexible lighting solution. It may, for example, function as a moveable spotlight above a counter in the kitchen. Cooking, baking and washing dishes become much easier, as the Carronade always supplies bright zone light exactly where it is needed.
