DesignThe Louis Poulsen AJ Eklipta wall light is made of hand-blown, three-layered glass, which is shaped in a way that ensures a harmonious light emission. In addition, the wall light discreetly blends with the wall thanks to its elegantly minimalist appearance. The AJ Eklipta is based on a design penned by Arne Jacobsen for the Rødovre Town Hall in Denmark in 1959. For this project, he initially developed the variants with a diameter of 35 cm and 45 cm. Subsequently, another variant with 22 cm followed and was used for the St. Catherine’s College in Cambridge. Up until today, the wall light by the Danish premium manufacturer Louis Poulsen stands out for offering manifold design possibilities and combining flexibility with an elegant appearance.
