Design

The Louis Poulsen PH 5 Mini is a new edition of the legendary classic PH 5 originally designed by Poul Henningsen. With a diameter of 30 cm, the PH 5 Mini is slightly smaller than its big sister. To make up for its small size, the Mini comes in numerous modern colour combinations. These give a contemporary twist to the classic appearance of this pendant light, which allows it to fit with recent trends in interior design. The individual lamp shades as well as the connections in between are made of high-quality aluminium, by means of which the pendant light by the Danish premium manufacturer Louis Poulsen remains light-weight while being robust. In this way, you will be able to enjoy your new favourite lamp for a long time.

PH 5 Mini: perfectly glare-free light

The Louis Poulsen PH 5 Mini is the result of Poul Henningsen’s decade-long studies on lighting. Thanks to his meticulous work, the pendant light impresses with glare-free and uniform light. No matter from which angle you look at the PH 5 Mini, it is impossible to see the illuminant inside. In addition, the pendant light by Louis Poulsen Lighting supplies soft, warm-white light downwards and to the sides and illuminates itself as well. Thereby, the pendant light fixture not only accentuates the area beneath, but also puts itself into the limelight. Equipped with an E27 lamp socket, the PH 5 Mini can be operated with either a conventional halogen lamp or an energy-efficient LED retrofit lamp.
