Luceplan Costanzina
Elegant light series with a traditional design language
Already the name of this light series by
Luceplan indicates which aspect was paramount during the development of the design: consistency. The Costanzina is the little sister of the
Costanza series (“costanza” is Italian and means “consistency” in English) and likewise impresses with its clear design and variety of colours.
The central design element of the Costanzina lights is the conical lampshade – just as in the case of the Costanza series. The shade tapers upwards and provides for a light that is emitted upwards and downwards. The shades of all Costanzina lights are manufactured from a special polycarbonate plastic, which is produced as part of a so-called silk screening procedure. Thanks to this innovative material, the lampshades are not only extremely robust but can also be easily and comfortably cleaned by means of a damp cloth. With its innovative material mix, the clearly structured design and the traditional design language, the light fixtures of the Costanzina series turn out to be unobtrusive lighting solutions for any environment.
A further interesting feature of these designer lights by Luceplan is the attachment of the lampshade. It is attached at two points to the frame by means of a sophisticated system. If the lampshade starts moving, for instance, after someone unintentionally hits it, the shade itself will find its balance again. All Costanzina lights are available in a number of different colours – there is the right colour for each application. Colourfully furnished rooms will particularly benefit if you combine various colourful versions of the Costanzina. But it does not really matter whether you opt for a solo artist or an ensemble – the Costanzina range by Luceplan turns out to be a real eye-catcher in almost every room.
An ideal solution to provide for zone lighting for beds or tables offers the Luceplan Costanzina Tavolo. This elegant
table lamp proves to be a perfect reading light that cuts a great figure on bedside tables, end tables or even desks. The Costanzina Parete stands out due to its particular flexibility during the assembly. Just like the other models of the Costanzina range, the elegant
wall light convinces with an unobtrusive design and a great choice of colours. Moreover, the Costanzina Parete can be installed independent of any available wall outlets. There is a cable on the bottom side of the frame that can be used to flexibly and conveniently connect it to any outlet. Thanks to its pleasant zone light, the Costanzina Parete is the ideal
reading light, for instance, above the bed. However, this elegant wall light also turns out to be a real eye-catcher in hallways or dining rooms.
By means of the Costanzina Sospensione, this appealing light series is complemented by a classy
pendant light. It can be used to impressively illuminate small dining tables or the kitchen table. By installing several pieces of this light, the Costanzina Sospensione can also highlight longer tables and festive boards. Here, the combination of different colours provides for an attractive visual contrast. The counterweights allow you to adjust the light fixture in height which makes it the perfect choice for rooms with particularly high and low ceilings. Its unobtrusive design and the excellent lighting properties also make the Costanzina Sospensione suitable for use in commercial areas. Here, the pendant light by Luceplan makes a great impression when illuminating bars and counters or when supplying zone lighting above the tables in a restaurant.
