Design

An oval reflector made of cast aluminium is the central element of the design of the Luceplan Garbi. The wall light impresses by a well-proportioned shape with an oval opening in the bottom third of the reflector. For a glare-free illumination, the LED module is hidden on the back of the diffuser. Thanks to its elegant design, the wall light by the Italian design label Luceplan fits into practically any interior. This is not surprising, as the designer David Dolcini shaped the designer lamp like a sculpture.

The Garbí was designed by David Dolcini for Luceplan in 2016.

Garbi: glare-free light upwards and downwards

The Luceplan Garbi emits its light directly towards the wall. From there, the light is reflected upwards and downwards into the room. In this way, the wall light supplies a harmonious and completely glare-free base lighting. By means of the oval opening in the reflector, the downwards-directed light forms an accentuating parabolic beam of light. In this way, the Garbi not only proves practical, but decorative as well. What is more, the wall light by Luceplan requires only very little energy to produce a large amount of light.
