Design

The Luceplan Lola Terra with foot-operated switch instantly impresses the viewer with its reduced formal expression as well as its elegant design. The floor lamp consists of a slim aluminium frame that rests on a tripod. At the top, a light head is located – together with its reflector made of micro-perforated steel it is reminiscent of the shape of a triangle. The plain design of the Lola Terra was penned by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto was, amongst others, awarded the coveted Compasso d'Oro. This floor lamp from the Italian light manufacturer Luceplan stands out for its high-quality workmanship. The shaft is made of fine aluminium, the head of this floor lamps is made of Rynite© PET, while the illuminant is shaded by an anti-UV Pyrex protection glass.

Designer

The design of the Lola Terra with basedimmer was penned by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto who created the Floor uplighters in 1987 for the manufacturer Luceplan.

Lola Terra floor lamps: comprehensive and flexibly adjustable ambient lighting

The main feature of the purist Luceplan Lola Terra with foot-operated dimmer is the high level of flexibility in terms of the light intensity and direction. It emits bright light upwards, while the light head and light stem can be adjusted as required. The light head of the Lola Terra can be rotated around the vertical line; additionally the angle of inclination can also be modified. Thus, this floor lamp offers maximum flexibility when it comes to the light direction. By means of a telescopic rod, the height of the floor lamp from Luceplan can also be adjusted. This means that even the eyes of tall persons are prevented from directly looking into the illuminant. The scope of supply of the floor lamp does not include illuminants. We recommend using halogen lamps for authentic lighting with a warm white light temperature.
