Design

The Luceplan Stochastic is determined by chance. Its designer, the Norwegian Daniel Rybakken, plays with a central element of any chandelier: the multiple repetition of a strict order. The Stochastic from the Italian light manufacturer Luceplan takes up this element with numerous mirrored or satin-finished glass spheres; however, it is broken through by a deliberately randomly looking structure of the glass bodies. Moreover, a powerful LED is hidden in the centre of this pendant light ensemble – here, the lighting effect definitely plays the leading role. This way, the pendant lamp creates an almost theatrical aesthetics and becomes the central eye-catcher in every design context.

Stochastic pendant lights: charming, indirect ambient lighting

By means of the Luceplan Stochastic, Daniel Rybakken once again proves that he is the master of indirect light. The pendant light conceals its light source in the middle of numerous mirrored or satin-finished glass spheres and thereby creates a fascinating, indirect ambient lighting. In this process, the light is breathtakingly reflected by the individual glass elements which provides the Stochastic with a unique gracefulness. The pendant lamp is equipped with a powerful LED module that only requires 25 watts to achieve a light intensity of 2,360 lumens. This means that the light source from Luceplan saves a lot of energy as it produces a similar light intensity like a 150 W incandescent lamp. As an additional highlight the light-emitting diodes may be dimmed. This way, the Stochastic always shines at the required brightness level.

Pendant lamps with a splendid charm

Being a modern chandelier, the Luceplan Stochastic particularly enriches living rooms with high ceilings as well as entrees, foyers and entrance areas with its mere presence. Nevertheless: as soon as the pendant light is switched on, its true elegance is revealed. The indirect ambient lighting produces a pleasant atmosphere that invites you to sit back and relax. Thanks to the Stochastic from Luceplan, each room becomes a magnificent representation of the sophisticated taste of its owner.
