Design

The Titania Queen owes its charismatic appearance to its ribbed shape, which is also responsible for the special lighting effect of this airship-like pendant light. In 2005, Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto designed the Luceplan Titania Queen as a successor of the Titania pendant light, which has been honoured with renowned prizes such as the Concours de la Lampe d'Or SIL/Paris and the Design Plus award. One thing is for sure, in terms of design the Titania Queen is in no way inferior to its predecessor.

The Titania Queen light was designed by Paolo Rizzatto and Alberto Meda in 2005 for Luceplan.

Titania Queen: white downwards-directed light, colourful light to the sides

The Titania Queen’s secret to success is not only its characteristic rib shape but its customisable light colour. The light emitted upwards and downwards by the two illuminants in the centre of the elliptical lamp body is simply white and on its own not quite a special feature. However, by equipping the Luceplan Titania Queen with the optional colour filters, an unparalleled lighting effect in yellow, pink, light blue or violet unfolds.

Titania Queen pendant lights: more than just dining table lighting

Thanks to the two-sided light emission, the Titania Queen pendant light by Luceplan supplies the ideal zone light for dining tables of up 2.8 m length as well as counters and bars. However, the Luceplan Titania Queen also effectively illuminates a coffee table in the living room. Furthermore, the powerful sister of the Titania is well-suited to provide a dining room or hallway with ambient light.
