By means of the Lumina Daphine Tavolo Classic, Tommaso Cimini created a style icon. The graceful table lamp was already designed in 1973 and has lost none of its appeal to this day. The power supply of this charming light source alone is a small piece of art itself. It is effected by means of the light arm. This is possible due to the low-voltage halogen technology which allows the arms to have a thickness of only 5 mm. Thanks to this, the table lamp from Lumina offers an impressive flexibility. A further highlight of the design is the black lacquered lamp base that simultaneously serves as the transformer. Moreover, the Daphine Tavolo Classic is available in numerous attractive colours.

Designer

The design of the Daphine Tavolo Classic was penned by Tommaso Cimini who created the Desk lamps in 1975 for the manufacturer Lumina.

Daphine Tavolo Classic table lights: improved concentration thanks to exemplary flexibility

Thanks to the two adjustable hinges and a reflector that can be rotated by 360 degrees, the Lumina Daphine Tavolo allows the light to be precisely and individually aligned. Thus, the table lamp from Lumina ensures comfortable conditions for working and its target-oriented lighting prevents the eyes from tiring quickly. The result: improved concentration and an increased performance efficiency. The characteristic transformer base ensures the required security. The light intensity of the Daphine Tavolo from Lumina is set by means of a two-step switch. It is located on the upper side of the transformer which is mounted on the luminaire base and it allows the brightness to be adjusted to suit one’s personal requirements.
