Marchetti Afelio S60 pendant light LED – galactic zone light and ambient light

The three elliptical rings arranged around the flat horizontal light source are slightly reminiscent of the rings of Saturn. As a matter of fact, the name of the Marchetti Afelio S60 pendant light LED is taken from astronomy: the Italian word "Afelio" translates to aphelion, which is the point in the orbit of a planet at which it is farthest from the sun. The Afelio S60 pendant light by Marchetti truly develops an almost uplifting aura that takes the viewer into distant galaxies.

Upon being switched on, the Afelio S60 pendant light LED even increases its captivating effect. The integrated LEDs provide zone light which is mainly focuses directly downwards, turning a dining table in an inviting island of light. About a third of the emitted light is directed upwards, which contributes to an indirect, thus soft ambient lighting.
