Design

The three intertwined metal rings of which the Marchetti Pura S60 pendant light LED consists seem to hide something, just like a mask. What might be hidden behind them? As a matter of fact, the rings of the Pura S60 pendant light LED surround two LED illuminants – instead of a diffuser, as often seen – covering them completely and making them barely visible. This gives the designer light a mysterious touch that catches everyone’s attention.

Pura S60 pendant light LED: combination of ambient light and zone light

The three rings surround the LEDs inside the Marchetti Pura S60 pendant light LED and reflect their energy-efficient light pleasantly upwards and downwards without glaring. This creates zone light in the lower area at the one hand, and at the other hand, the upwards-directed light is reflected back from the ceiling, creating soft ambient light. Furthermore, a small portion of light escapes through the gaps in the lampshade of the Pura S60 pendant light LED, which contributes to the base lighting of the room. As a result, the pendant light by Marchetti supplies a harmonious combination of zone light and ambient light.
