Design

The Marset Discocó 53 ceiling light combines high-quality materials and a floral design to form an innovative lighting solution. The special blossom-look is supposed to be a tribute to the style of the 1960s. Thanks to a simple plug system, the assembly of this ceiling light is particularly uncomplicated. This ceiling light by the Spanish high-class manufacturer Marset is provided with 21 plastic discs that are arranged like petals around the light’s frame. When selecting the colour for the Discocó 53 you are spoilt for choice as it is available in four different designs. The combination of glossy gold and deep black turns the Discocó 53 from Marset into an elegant decorative object within the room. The unobtrusive white, grey or beige versions of this light from Marset discreetly blend into every spatial concept.

The Discocó 68 Ceiling Light was designed by Christophe Mathieu for Marset in 2008.

Discocó 53 ceiling lights: nature-like play of colours

The numerous reflector discs not only give the Discocó 53 its flower-like appearance but also ensure a fascinating lighting effect with thousands of reflections. This play of light full of nuances creates spectacular lighting effects on the ceiling. Additionally, the light is also reflected by the aluminium frame which means that the Marset Discocó 53 ceiling light provides for even more reflections. In order to ensure a charming diffusion of light the ceiling lamp from Marset was provided with an E27 socket that can be equipped with either a brilliant halogen lamp or an energy-efficient LED retrofit lamp.
