Design

The Marset Funiculi floor lamp is a piece by Lluís Porqueras. He designed this practical floor lamp already in 1979 and it was now re-edited by Marset. Similarly to the car of a funicular, the lampshade of the Funiculi floor lamp by Marset can be individually adjusted with a downward and upward movement and thus can be adapted to the most varied needs. This composition comprises clips, by means of which the hemispherical diffuser can be easily adjusted in height. The rubber bumper on the light base ensures an optimum stability of the Funiculi floor lamp. Moreover, this floor lamp is available in five different colours, including red and beige.

Funiculi floor lamps: flexible applications

The Marset Funiculi floor lamp emits bright zone lighting that can be adjusted as required. This is ensured by this floor lamp as the semicircular metal shade can be rotated by 360°. Thus, the Funiculi from Marset can be used as a reading light as well as an uplighter. It is recommended to equip this floor lamp with halogen light bulbs or LED retrofit lamps. Halogen light bulbs are known for their brilliant colour rendering, while LEDs save a lot of energy.
