A fascinating, radiant play of light and an extraordinary design are the attractive features of a
Maranga. When designing these lights, Christophe Mathieu was inspired by an imaginary, exotic piece of fruit. He created a sophisticated lighting solution with a flattened, round body with the shade consisting of interconnected strips made from prismatic engraved polycarbonate – a resilient plastic material that ensures a uniform distribution of light. The beams emitted by the Maranga pass through these strips so that a harmonious, glare-free light is created – including a charming interplay of light and shadow and as well as an appealing corona on the ceiling.
The Marset Maranga is available in many versions. With its expressive illumination the
ceiling light often provides for a pleasant atmosphere in the bedroom. Here, a frosted diffuser ensures a pleasantly glare-free light which enables a soft transition between daytime and night-time. Thanks to its radiant light, it looks like a little sun on the ceiling. These wall lights are available with unobtrusive white, grey and sand-coloured surfaces. It is recommended to equip these lights with halogen lamps which are known for their excellent colour rendering.
Another appreciated piece is the Marset
Maranga pendant light, particularly in a dining area such as the kitchen. Here, the "citrus light" can be installed above the dining table, from where it suffuses food and drinks with a pleasant zone light that invites you to stay. Furthermore, it takes over a main decorative role thanks to the enticing design language and instantly captures the viewer’s attention. In high-end gastronomy, the advantages of the Marset Maranga in terms of lighting technology and outer appearance are particularly prominent, for instance, if installed above a bar. Moreover, this ceiling lamp is often used in entrance halls.
For the time being, the Maranga family is completed by a
floor lamp. This Maranga version attracts attention due to its pretty respectable height of
