Design

The Marset Tam Tam Mini slightly resembles the outcome of an experiment. The unconventional pendant light spreads a playful form of anarchy. Like satellites, the three smaller lamp shades “orbit” around a bigger shade in the centre and thereby create the impression of chaos. In this way, the pendant light unfolds a charming nonconformist aura, which no one can escape. The shades of the Tam Tam Mini, designed by the Frenchman Fabien Dumas, are made of high-quality aluminium available in the colours orange, brown, blue and green.

Fabien Dumas designed the Tam Tam Mini Pendant lights in 2012 for the manufacturer Marset.

Tam Tam Mini – adjustable lamp shades

Following the motto of an unusual design, the Marset Tam Tam Mini provides a rather uncommon lighting. While the large shade remains in one position and emits its light directly downwards, the smaller shades may be rotated by 360°. Thereby, you may direct their light towards a certain piece of furniture to highlight it. Moreover, the three lamp shades of the Tam Tam Mini may also illuminate a wall or ceiling, which creates an indirect and thus very soft ambient lighting. Either way, the Marset Tam Tam Mini offers you a so far unknown form of lighting which gives you free rein to your creativity.

Tam Tam Mini pendant lights for the dining room and the living room

The Marset Tam Tam Mini is best suited for the dining room or the kitchen. There, the light emitted from the larger shade in the centre effectively illuminates the dinner table and suffuses food and drinks with invitingly pleasant light. The other three lamp shades of the Tam Tam Mini pendant light can be used to highlight a shelf, a cupboard or a sideboard. By rotating one of the shades upwards, you may achieve a wonderfully soft ambient lighting. Furthermore, the Tam Tam Mini by Marset may be suspended over a coffee table in the living room. Even there, the pendant light offers you many different lighting options.
