DesignInspired by the interaction of light and shadow, Mathias Hahn designed the Marset Theia P floor lamp LED. Its name, Theia, refers to the Greek goddess of the sun, the moon and the twilight, all of which the German designer successfully combined in this floor lamp by using horizontal and vertical hemispheres. The LED module is hidden inside the smallest vertically positioned hemisphere and emits its light into a larger hemisphere. A horizontal hemisphere on top, made of smoky methacrylate, functions as a diffuser. By means of a handle, the entire structure can be rotated around its axis. In this way, the floor lamp by the Spanish premium manufacturer Marset not only impresses with its fascinating design but also with its changing lighting effect.
