Design

Inspired by the interaction of light and shadow, Mathias Hahn designed the Marset Theia P floor lamp LED. Its name, Theia, refers to the Greek goddess of the sun, the moon and the twilight, all of which the German designer successfully combined in this floor lamp by using horizontal and vertical hemispheres. The LED module is hidden inside the smallest vertically positioned hemisphere and emits its light into a larger hemisphere. A horizontal hemisphere on top, made of smoky methacrylate, functions as a diffuser. By means of a handle, the entire structure can be rotated around its axis. In this way, the floor lamp by the Spanish premium manufacturer Marset not only impresses with its fascinating design but also with its changing lighting effect.

Theia P LED: mood light or reading light in one single step

The Marset Theia P LED offers two functions. The floor lamp may either emit its light towards a wall, which creates a diffused indirect base lighting, or it may be used as a reading light. For this purpose, you simply need to rotate the reflector around the illuminant. In addition, you may dim the light as desired by pressing the button located on the LED housing. Speaking of which, the integrated LEDs operate at a highly efficient level and consume only very little energy.
