Design

The great flexibility of the Mawa Wittenberg 4.0 recessed ceiling light round LED is wrapped in a discreet design. The unobtrusive spotlight essentially consists of a half-flush luminaire head that is partially recessed into the ceiling. Neither screws nor cables interfere with its puristic appearance. The Wittenberg 4.0 recessed ceiling light round LED uses a threaded inlet, through which the luminaire head of this spot is screwed in. Designer Jan Dinnebier received the German Design Award 2018 for this ceiling lamp.

The Mawa Wittenberg 4.0 recessed ceiling light round LED stands out for its flexibility and light quality. This is reflected in the ability to tilt 90° and rotate 355°, so that the light reaches areas in the room that are otherwise difficult to reach. The Wittenberg 4.0 recessed ceiling light round LED achieves a high quality of light with modern light-emitting diodes, which are not only attractive because of their high luminous efficacy and low energy consumption, but also because of their very good colour rendering value. This is important for natural lighting. The highlight: thanks to an innovative bayonet lock, the luminaire head can be modified without tools, for example to replace the light source or to use a different interchangeable lens with a different beam angle.
