Those searching for a successful combination of exclusive design and flexible lighting certainly make the right choice purchasing the Moooi Dear Ingo. The Dear Ingo pendant light by the Dutch interior and light manufacturer Moooi stands out for its sensational design that is reminiscent of a giant spider. The Moooi Dear Ingo is characterised by as many as 16 swivelling arms with adjustable luminaire heads that look like conventional desk lamps arranged in a circle. The pendant lamp is manufactured from powder-coated steel, and available in black or white. Its extraordinary, spider-like shape turns the Dear Ingo into an eye-catcher in any interior. What is more, the Art Institute of Chicago has included the Moooi Dear Ingo in their exhibition for its exclusive design and aesthetic allure. The pendant light’s name is an homage to the famous German light designer Ingo Maurer. With the Dear Ingo, designer Ron Gilad combines abstract optics with breath-taking elegance and highest functionality.

The design of the Dear Ingo was penned by Ron Gilad who created the pendant light in 2003 for the manufacturer Moooi.

Dear Ingo – moveable spider legs

In addition to an exceptional appearance, the Moooi Dear Ingo scores points with its excellent functionality. This shows in a very flexible light emission. Thanks to the adjustability of each lamp arm, the individual diffusers can be oriented according to your personal requirements. What is more, the diameter of the Dear Ingo pendant light can be changed between 80 and 240 cm. Please note that 16 lamps with an E27 base are required for operating the Dear Ingo.

Dear Ingo chandeliers for living rooms and dining rooms

The Moooi Dear chandelier is an incomparable visual gain for any room. In the dining room, the pendant is usually suspended above a dining table so that dishes and drinks are emphasised in an appetising way. As this not necessarily requires all 16 lamps, some of them may be used to accentuate selected objects, such as a cupboard or a shelf. Also above a coffee table in the living room, the Dear Ingo is accompanied by an increase of the room’s decorative level while lighting the interior flexibly.
