Design

Taking a look at the Northern Acorn pendant light makes you literally feel the charmingly rustic flair of Scandinavian forests. In the case of this pendant light nomen est omen. If you look at the organically shaped Acorn from Northern it becomes obvious why it was given the name Acorn. The natural appearance of this interesting lighting object is supported by a beech wood attachment which connects the supply line with the elegant shade – just like a stalk connects the fruit to the tree. The scope of delivery includes a second attachment made of dark walnut wood. The pendant light was designed by Atle Tveit.

Designer

The design of the Acorn Pendant light was penned by Atle Tveit who created the Pendant lights in 2012 for the manufacturer Northern.

Acorn pendant lights: cosy light and decorative element rolled into one

The Northern Acorn uniformly and softly emits its light downwards. Thus, it suffuses the area below it with pleasant, warm-white zone lighting. This luminaire is provided with a classic E27 socket which allows you to use conventional halogen lamps as well as modern LED retrofit lamps. light11 recommends equipping this pendant light from Northern with a halogen lamp with a power of 77 watts. Its advantage is the excellent colour rendering and the cosy light with a high red component. Those who prefer equipping the Acorn with economical LEDs should make sure that the colour rendering index is at least Ra=95.

Here, this pendant light covers the dining table with pleasant feel-good lighting and at the same time functions as a decorative eye-catcher in the entire room.
