Your order will be delivered before Christmas
Of all orders in October 2024 received on weekdays before 12:00, 99% of all orders delivered from stock were delivered to our customers on the following working day (Mon-Fri) in Germany. 100% of the orders delivered from stock were dispatched on the same day. This does not include bulky goods and individual regions that are not supplied daily by the shipping service provider.
As of recently our living room area already shines in the light of the Cesta (in cherry wood/glass), thus we decided to add the smaller metal/glass light Cestita of Santa & Cole and have quickly grown fond of the small "egg". The delivery was completely unproblematic, as usual with light11, quick and everything was very carefully packaged. Using the gloves included by Santa & Cole, simply screw the illuminant into the socket in the metal frame of the Cestita, fit the lampshade made of opal glass on top, connect the cable and you’re done. Despite the filigree details, the workmanship is very stable and of high quality, in line with other products of the Barcelona designers. The Cestita Metálica is a design by Miguel Milá from 1962, when there was virtually no industry in Spain and Catalonia in particular. Accordingly, the Cestita appears timeless in its clear and reduced form and blends harmoniously into any environment. Thanks to its compact size, it fits into our bookshelf from where it supplies particularly warm ambient light and servers as wonderful mood light at the same time. By means of a dimmer, the lamp can be individually adjusted to the environment. The metal frame of the luminaire shimmers slightly dark when light of another light source falls on it. This creates a very beautiful contrast especially with light-coloured furniture. LEDs (E27 base) can be used; we are using dimmable LED retrofit/filament lamps with 2,700 K and a colour rendering of >80 and 470 lumens and thereby achieve a beautiful result. Overall 5 out of 5 stars for this small piece of art!
