The Serien Lighting Annex M ceiling light is a charming eye-catcher for the ceiling. With an impressive combination of several diffusers and reflectors it produces an unparalleled play of light. The shade of this ceiling light consists of three elements: a hand-blown, cone-shaped glass shade that is either transparent or opaque, an internal cone-shaped shade that is made of either opal glass, crystal glass or polished aluminium and a cone-shaped reflector that is tapered downwards starting from the base. Additionally, the area below the ceiling light from Serien Lighting is provided with a concentric pattern. The combination of expressive design and special lighting effect offered by the Annex M ceiling light was able to win over the members of various selection committees. This light fixture already received the Focus Open Silver Award and the Design Plus Award.

Annex M ceiling lights: ambient lighting and mood lighting

The light emitted by the Serien Lighting Annex M ceiling light varies depending on the version selected. All versions of this ceiling light primarily emit their ambient light downwards, while a portion of the light is also emitted upwards. Particularly the cone-shaped reflector on the base makes sure that the light is laterally directed towards the ceiling. Therefore, a little light corona in created around the ceiling lamp. The internal cone-shaped reflector of the Annex M ceiling light fulfils another task. It covers the illuminant and directs the light downwards. In the case of the version with an opal reflector, a soft shimmer escapes to the sides while the crystal reflector creates a charming twinkle within the room. However, the reflector made of polished aluminium ensures that the light is only directed upwards and downwards. At the bottom, the luminaire is fitted with a glass cover that is provided with a concentric pattern which diffuses the light emitted downwards and simultaneously ensures glare control. Moreover, the ceiling light from Serien Lighting impresses by a special technical feature: thanks to a sophisticated fastening system, the glass can be easily removed without using any tools which allows for an easy replacement of the illuminant. At the same time, a surrounding rubber lip seal prevents the ingress of dust.
