Design

Thanks to its extraordinary look, the Slamp Etoile ceiling light LED arouses associations with stars that are sparkling in the night sky. Thus, the creation by Adriano Rachele has an almost poetic expressive force. The extravagant diffuser is made of the high-quality, patented plastic material Lentiflex®, a combination of polymers and glass crystals. Its shimmering effect reminds us of the play of light of a crystal or a diamond and seems to change its shape from every perspective.

The Étoile Ceiling Light LED was designed by Adriano Rachele for Slamp in 2015.

Sparkling star

Thanks to its extravagant shade design, the ceiling light reminds us of a sparkling star while it is switched on.

Innovative plastic material

The diffuser of the ceiling light is made of the patented material Lentiflex^®. It provides this light with a unique lighting effect.

Etoile ceiling light LED – unique light reflections

The patented material from which the Slamp Etoile is made reveals fascinating properties for the distribution of light and turns this ceiling light into an enticingly shining lighting object. Thanks to the lining of the Lentiflex®, the Etoile is provided with a "Fresnel" effect which results in the creation of unique reflections including brilliant nuances. The ceiling lamp from Slamp emits light in all directions and thereby ensures a uniform illumination within the room. As it is operated using LEDs it only requires little energy for this purpose: 31 watts are enough for the Etoile to generate a luminous flux of 3,700 lumens – and thereby it also offers a very good colour rendering of Ra=90.
