Design

Designer Adriano Rachele took inspiration from the high art of dressmaking –haute couture– when designing the Slamp Veli Couture wall-/ceiling light. With its interwoven wavy bands of silky, shimmery Opalflex®, the wall light, which can also be mounted to the ceiling, looks like artfully draped fabric. Opalflex® is a recyclable synthetic material that consists of polymers and special additives. The Veli Couture wall-/ceiling light was designed by Adriano Rachele, who has been honoured with numerous awards such as the German „Leuchte des Jahres“ award and the Red Dot Award.

Veli Couture wall-/ceiling light – soft light in all directions

The Slamp Veli Couture wall-/ceiling light supplies diffuse, harmonious ambient light in all directions. The large 78cm variant, which requires three lamps, is also suitable to provide an entire room with sufficient basic brightness. In doing so, the Opalflex® patented by Slamp, of which the Veli Couture wall-/ceiling light is made, scatters the emitted light to soften it. The small 32cm variant is fitted with one E14 lamp socket, while the medium (53cm) and large (78cm) versions are equipped with respectively two or three E27 sockets. As usual with Slamp Veli lights, also the Veli Couture wall-/ceiling light is easy to install thanks to a magnetic bracket developed by Slamp.

Veli Couture wall-/ceiling lights for living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms

The Slamp Veli Couture wall-/ceiling light is a highly versatile designer light. In the living room, for instance, the smaller variant provides for a cosy light accent with its pleasant mood light. The two larger variants contribute to the base lighting of the room. What is particularly worth a mention, is the always glare-free, soft light emission, which creates a cosy ambience in any room. Thanks to these characteristics, the Veli Couture wall-/ceiling light by Slamp is also highly welcome in the bedroom or the dining area.
