Slamp Veli table lamp – a fascinating material for charming mood lighting

In terms of the fascinating lighting effect and the expressive design, the Veli table lamp by Slamp is a qualified member of the Veli light series.

The material used for the manufacture of the Slamp Veli table lamp is the decisive factor in this respect: Opalflex®. This special, recyclable and eco-friendly mixture of technopolymers and glass crystals was specifically developed and patented by the Italian light manufacturer. This means that the Veli table lamp not only offers a unique play of light when the Opalflex® material refracts the light in a fascinating way and diffuses it in all direction so that a charming mood lighting is created. The innovative material offers further attractive properties: firstly, its look reminds us of artistically manufactured glass. This is enabled by the flexibility offered by the Opalflex®, which can be creatively shaped in many different ways. Moreover, it – similarly like plastic – stands out for an extreme resistance to external influences and thereby guarantees a long service life. Even more: thanks to the use of screen printing, colour nuances can be achieved which contribute to a unique emission of light.

The Veli table lamp is a sister of the Veli ceiling light from 2010, which won the renowned Red Dot Award. In addition to further versions for the ceiling, a pendant light as well as various special metallic editions are available. The following applies to all lights: since they were all manufactured by hand, each Veli light is a unique piece. Furthermore, a magnetic attachment allows for an easy installation. It is recommended to equip this light with LeD lamps. These are known for their high energy efficiency and the excellent luminous efficacy. The designer Adriano Rachele was born in the German city of Mülheim an der Ruhr in 1984 and graduated in industrial design from La Sapienza University in Rome.
