In 1924, Marianne Brandt (1893-1983) and Hans Przyrembel (1900-1945) worked together in the workshop of the legendary Bauhaus art school in Weimar. The result in 1925 was among others the wonderfully elegant Bauhaus HMB 25/500 pendant light, here as a version with a pulley and a counterweight. Tecnolumen, the only company in the world that is authorised to reproduce Bauhaus designs, reissued this pendant lamp using old catalogues with detailed measures and two preserved originals. TheTecnolumen Bauhaus HMB 25/500 pendant light with pulley and counterweight is a fascinating testimony of stylish Bauhaus art, which additionally impresses with particularly flexible lighting.
Unlike most pendant lights, the Tecnolumen HMB 25/500 can be individually adjusted up to a height of 250 cm thanks to a pulley with a counterweight. In this way, for instance, a dining table in the kitchen or the dining room can be illuminated as desired. Thus, food and beverages shine in exactly the light you wish for them. The HMB 25/500 pendant light by Tecnolumen requires an illuminant with an E27 base. light11 recommends using either a halogen lamp or an LED retrofit/filament lamp.
