Tecnolumen Bauhaus HMB 25/500 Pendant Light aluminium

Marianne Brandt (1893-1983) and Hans Przyrembel (1900-1945) designed the Tecnolumen HMB 25/500 pendant light 1925, when they worked together in the workshop of the legendary Staatliches Bauhaus in Weimar. True to the Bauhaus school of thought, which propagated simple, functional design, the HMB 25/500 is a gently curved pendant light that captures the viewer with a restrained, discreetly elegant appearance. In this way, it makes a quiet, yet impressive statement for tasteful minimalism.

The Tecnolumen HMB 25/500 pendant light emits its light directly downwards. This provides for accentuating lighting, for instance, on a dining table in the kitchen or the bedroom. The HMB 25/500 is also often installed above a coffee table in the living room, where it creates an inviting oasis of light, as well.
