Design

The Bauhaus student and artist Marianne Brandt was known for her designs that were based on simple geometrical shapes. In line with this, the design of the Tecnolumen DMB 26 ceiling light is characterised by the use of spheres, circles and right angles. Furthermore, the ceiling lamp, which is deservedly consider a classic of Bauhaus design, impresses with a diffuser made of high-quality opal glass which is connected to the round ceiling canopy by means of three filigree metal braces. The metallic elements are available in clearly varnished brass and nickel. Thus, the ceiling light by the German light manufacturer Tecnolumen is a prime example of modern reduced Bauhaus design.

Thanks to its opal glass lampshade, the Tecnolumen DMB 26 emits soft light evenly in all directions. In doing so, the ceiling lamp unfolds a cosy base lighting and relaxing atmosphere. As the DMB 26 is equipped with an E27 lamp socket, you have a great choice of suitable illuminants. For instance with an LED retrofit lamp, the ceiling lamp by Tecnolumen consumes only very little energy and reduces energy costs as well as the strain on the environment.
