DesignThe Bauhaus student and artist Marianne Brandt was known for her designs that were based on simple geometrical shapes. In line with this, the design of the Tecnolumen DMB 26 ceiling light is characterised by the use of spheres, circles and right angles. Furthermore, the ceiling lamp, which is deservedly consider a classic of Bauhaus design, impresses with a diffuser made of high-quality opal glass which is connected to the round ceiling canopy by means of three filigree metal braces. The metallic elements are available in clearly varnished brass and nickel. Thus, the ceiling light by the German light manufacturer Tecnolumen is a prime example of modern reduced Bauhaus design.
