When looked at from above, the profile of the polished marble block of the Tecnolumen Egyptian Eye looks like an ancient Egyptian Horus eye. In ancient Egypt, this sign was regarded as a symbol of the light god Horus. In the form of a floor light this symbol becomes obvious. As early as 1986, the famous German designer Günther Leuchtmann designed the Tecnolumen Egyptian Eye floor light. It is a splendid eye-catcher, which inspires by its high-quality materials and its processing. Nevertheless, the floor light blends discreetly and elegantly into many interiors.

The Egyptian Eye floor light was designed by Guenther Leuchtmann for in 1986.

Egyptian Eye: extravagant wall and ceiling accessory made of light

The Tecnolumen Egyptian Eye produces an artistic light effect on the wall and ceiling by means of a glass lens on the upper side. A multitude of small, concentrically arranged light spots form around a bright light centre. To reinforce this impression even further, the light intensity of the Egyptian Eye by Tecnolumen can be adjusted to personal requirements by means of an integrated dimmer. Ideally, the floor light is operated with a GU5.3 low-voltage halogen lamp. These are more economical than conventional halogen lamps and last up to twice as long. In this way, the floor lamp shines in cosy warm white light with authentic colour rendering.
