Design

The Top Light Puk Outdoor Wall LED is an exterior light that is entirely tailored to your wishes. Designer Rolf Ziel successfully designed a modular wall light that is put together piece by piece – and you decide how. For instance, you can choose between five surface finishes, from matt and shiny chrome over matt nickel, white, black and anthracite. The top and bottom light openings can be equipped with frosted glass, a clear or matt lens or an aluminium reflector. Here, you are the light designer!

Rolf Ziel designed the Puk Outdoor Wall LED for the manufacturer Top Light.

Puk Outdoor Wall LED – focused or diffuse light upwards and downwards

You decide how the Puk Outdoor Wall LED performs its service by choosing whether to equip it with glass or lens. If you equip the two light outlets with frosted glass, the LED light becomes very gentle and diffuse. A clear lens focuses the light sharply, while the matt lens also bundles it, but allows it to run out more softly. A reflector made of an aluminium/glass combination keeps most of the light inside the housing and thus creates a mild, strongly subdued glow on the wall. You don't have to equip the Puk Outdoor Wall LED equally above and below, of course, combinations of glass/lens/aluminium components create exciting light scenarios. The latter are all the more effective if you equip this wall lamp with one of the colour filters. Then the wall is flooded with red, magenta, yellow, blue or green light. The Top Light Puk Outdoor Wall LED uses two 8 W LEDs, which together generate a luminous flux of 1200 lumens.

Puk Outdoor Wall LED wall lights for indoors and outdoors

As the name already suggests, the Top Light Puk Outdoor Wall LED can be safely used outdoors. In accordance with protection class IP44, it is protected against splash water from all sides as well as against solid foreign bodies with a diameter from 1.0 mm. However, since this wall light is not protected against powerful water jets, it is recommended to install it in roofed areas, for example under a canopy. Protected from excessive rain, the Top Light Puk Outdoor Wall LED provides wonderfully accentuating outdoor lighting. Of course, you can also use this wall lamp made in Germany indoors, for example above a sideboard or a chest of drawers in the living room.
