Multifunctional LED table lamp with flexibly adjustable light
"With a flexible 360° light and a charger for your phone or tablet all in one form and function are combined to create a classic lamp of the future."Søren Ravn Christensen, Chief Creative Developer and Co-Owner of Umage
Omni table lamp LED – noble design meets steerable light
With Omni, Søren Ravn Christensen has designed a multifunctional table lamp for his company Umage. The noble LED lamp is characterized by its filigree, slim design and the surface of brushed brass. Flexibility in directing the light is provided by the narrow lamp head, which can be rotated 360 degrees. The lamp rod can also be rotated 45 degrees to either side. This allows you to precisely direct the dimmable light, for example, when working at your desk or reading in bed.
The elegant designer lamp has a USB port at the base, where you can charge smartphones or tablets. This emphasizes the multifunctional and sustainable approach of Umage, as it reduces the necessary everyday products in your home.
Søren Ravn Christensen – Umage Co-Founder and Designer
Søren Ravn Christensen is co-founder of Umage and Chief Creative Developer of the successful company. The Dane focuses on useful, durable designs that are characterized by high (multi-)functionality. With his objects, Søren Ravn Christensen wants to ensure a sustainable life cycle.
The self-taught designer has designed many luminaires for Umage, including Asteria, Eos and Acorn. The minimalist Asteria luminaires are characterized by their flat, round metal body, through which the light diffuses downwards. Characteristic of Eos, on the other hand, is the decorative feather shade. This consists of up to 5,000 real goose feathers, which come from an ethically sound production. Through the natural feather dress, the light shines diffuse and well glare-free, creating an atmospheric ambience in the room. A cozy ambience is also provided by his Acorn pendant lights, which are remotely reminiscent of an acorn.
