Design

With the Vibia Meridiano Floor Light LED, the two Spanish designers, Jordi Vilardell and Meritxell Vidal, have successfully created a garden light that functions as a decorative piece of furniture at the same time. The floor light stands out for its bulbous shape, which lends it an aura of nonchalance. Its modern LED module is hidden underneath the cover made of polyurethane foam. What is particularly characteristic about the Meridiano Floor Light LED is its body being made of numerous painted stainless steel rods, organised in a circle. A sheet of high-quality glass below the cover functions as a diffuser. The base is manufactured from stainless steel.

Meridiano Floor Light LED – harmonious mood light

The Vibia Meridiano Floor Light LED provides pleasant, cosy outdoor lighting. The LED module, which is located inside the cover, emits light downwards. From there, the light is reflected by the base in all directions, creating glare-free mood light. Furthermore, by means of the light shining through the steel rods, an attractive play of light and shadow shows on the ground, resembling the rays of the sun. The integrated LED module of the Meridiano garden light uses contemporary technology thanks to which it operates at a highly energy-efficient level. In lowering energy consumption, the Vibia Meridiano Floor Light LED does its part in the reduction of harmful emissions. The exterior light has a high protection degree of IP64, according to which it is dust-tight and protected against splash water coming from any direction.

Meridiano Floor Light LED - garden lights for lawns, terraces and balconies

The Vibia Meridiano Floor Light LED comes into its own in many ways in the outdoor area. As a garden light, it creates an attractive light accent on a lawn or other green areas. At the same time, it functions as a seat, with its cover made of polyurethane foam providing a soft pad. In its double function as a source of mood light and stool (or side table), it also scores points on a terrace or a balcony. Furthermore, the floor light can be quickly moved to a different location – within reach of a power outlet – such as a forecourt or entrance area. As the Vibia Meridiano Floor Light LED is protected against splash water, it also provides wet areas, such as swimming pools, with cosy mood light. At the same time, the designer light functions as a decorative highlight.
